Overview: Iceland’s plan to respond to the economic impact of COVID-19 aims to reduce and shorten the impact on businesses and the economy whilst also fostering conditions for a swift recovery. The current expectation is that COVID-19 will have a signifiacnt impact in the short-term, but with clear measures outlined and the stable economy, Iceland will be well placed to return to business as ususal in the medium to long-term.
