Overview: The French government published a list of establishments that were not allowed to accommodate the public until 15 April.

Closed establishments included shopping centers, dance studios, libraries, museums, court rooms, sports stadiums, and leisure centers.

Outdoor markets were also outlawed, unless it was ruled by a local authority that an outdoor market was necessary for people to access food.

Religious establishments were permitted to remain open, but any service within a religious establishment was limited to 20 people.
