Overview: The Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works will divert BGN 40.4 million (EUR 20 million) through Operational Program “Regions for Growth” 2014-2020 to the Ministry of Health to provide the most necessary medical equipment and supplies for combating coronavirus (COVID-19 ) in the country and for responding to crises in the healthcare system. Respirators for the needs of hospitals that accept patients with COVID-19, protective equipment (masks, scrubs, goggles, gloves, helmets and disinfectants) and tests for coronavirus testing will be bought.
