Overview: The National Council for Scientific and Technological Research promotes an equine neutralizing immunoglobulin project as a possible treatment for COVID-19. They will fund the Clodomiro Picado Institute (ICP) for the purchase of the recombinant protein of the SARS-CoV-2 Virus for the purpose of producing equine neutralizing immunoglobulins as a possible treatment for COVID-19. This effort could put in a period of 3 months around 600 doses of equine neutralizing immunoglobulins, with the expectation of being able to provide the country, and why not, to the world, a sustained therapy over time.
