Overview: The Board of Governors decided, in the Iraq Stock Exchange, to close the Investors Hall until March 21, in compliance with the decision of the Crisis Cell, and in order to cooperate in preventing the spread of any virus or disease.
The Supreme Committee to confront the Corona Virus in the Iraqi Ministry of Trade issued several decisions that included reducing the percentages of auditors for a week in the ration card center and in the company registrar department.
The committee directed the sterilization of all institutions, departments and companies affiliated with the Ministry, as well as the establishment of an awareness and education campaign and courses provided by specialized doctors for employees in all joints of the ministry, and the postponement of meetings and seminars for 10 days.
In turn, the Iraqi Border Ports Authority announced the closure of 5 ports in front of the commercial exchange movement with Iran until mid-March, in implementation of the order of Committee No. (64) headed by the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers.
The authority noted that, with regard to Iraqi travelers, they will be prevented from entering the aforementioned ports after the 15th of this month, and they will be allowed entry exclusively through the airports of Baghdad and Basra airports.
This is in addition to the announcement by the Border Ports Authority in Iraq that the border crossing points with Iran have stopped until Sunday, March 15th, in order to protect the Iraqis from the dangers of the spread of Corona virus.
And revealed the Ministry of Transport in the State of Iraq, the direct manufacture of medical masks to fill the shortfall in local markets, and provide them for free to the general public
