Overview: A group of Iraqi doctors announced the launch of an initiative targeting those recovering from the emerging corona virus (Covid-19), expressing their willingness to detect, treat or perform operations for recovered people who donate their blood plasma for a period of time, while others confirmed paying the value of the plasma to those who provide it for money. The representative of the World Health Organization in Iraq, Adham Ismail, revealed in press statements that the results of the Iraqi Ministry of Health’s experiments by taking plasma samples of Coronavirus positive patients who recovered and transferred to other infected persons, were promising and showed signs of recovery on the patient within three days.
