Lead People/Agency: Ministry of Health and Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Health care workers of National Emergency Organization were responsible to transfer the students from the airport and all the screening procedures were done by medical team members affiliated with Ministry of Health and Education.
Overview: Iranian international students in China, whohad been temporarily repatriated due to corona virus outbreak, were kept quarantined in Shahriar state’s “Baghe Gilas” complex for two weeks.
After coming back to Iran by a private flight, a medical team was settled in the complex the whole time to provide the 56-member group of the students with medical care and guidance.
Diagnostic COVID-19 test results were negative for all the students.

Evidence/Justification: Given that in January 2020, the number of corona virus cases was rising in China and considering the statement of WHO declaring the outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern, returning Iranian international students from China was initiated and implemented in February 2020.
