Overview: The Prime Minister announced a full lockdown beginning midnight of 24 March 2020 — four hours after the broadcast of his speech — for 21 days to 14 April.
The lockdown involved a complete ban on people leaving their homes. Food and suppliers, banks, and certain other essential services were exempt.
