Evidence/Justification: The national committee for the management of epidemics, CNGE, as part of its weekly meetings, met this Monday, February 24, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health and Social Action to take stock of the coronavirus epidemic .
As of today, according to data from the World Health Organization, the epidemiological situation of the Covid epidemic19 is presented as such:

Faced with the spread of the disease, the CNGE recommends strengthening alert, epidemiological surveillance and health control measures at the front doors; To this end, ten prevention officers and two others from the hygiene service will join and support the AIBD airport team after their training;
Monitoring travelers from epidemic areas over a 14-day period also remains a challenge and the relay takes place in the regions and health districts.
Regarding the “care” component, the process of bringing the treatment center up to standards, according to WHO, continues at the level of Fann’s infectious disease department; The treatment and transit centers set up during the onset of EBOLA virus disease are being evaluated in the regions, as are the rapid intervention groups;
Regional epidemic management committees around the territorial administration continue to be organized with a view to preparing the response;
The psychosocial support cell maintains its listening and support system for fellow citizens living abroad as well as their families.
The CNGE requests strict compliance with preventive measures, individual and collective hygiene with particular emphasis during gatherings in order to limit contamination of the disease in the community as much as possible;
The involvement of all sectors of activity is expected in the fight against the disease!
