Overview: The National Security Council met on Thursday July 30 and decided
– Maintaining the state of emergency until August 31, 2020;
– Maintaining the closure of land and sea borders;
– The opening of bars, nightclubs, cinemas and performance venues from July 31, 2020, in strict compliance with barrier measures, in particular the wearing of masks, hand washing and physical distancing;
– The resumption of gatherings throughout the country, upon authorization from the prefects and from the health authorities;
– Maintaining compulsory confinement for all vulnerable people, including pregnant women;
– Continuation of communication and community awareness actions, in conjunction with communities, the prefectural body, religious leaders, traditional authorities, social workers and community agents;
– The extension, on an exceptional basis, for a period of three (03) months, namely from July to September 2020, of the payment of premiums for health personnel and to the defense and security forces.
– The establishment of a specific test circuit for the benefit of travelers, as part of the opening of air borders
