Overview: Diyala governor, Muthanna Al-Tamimi announced the imposition of a comprehensive curfew in the governorate for a week, stressing the cancellation of all exceptions and maintaining the exception of health personnel. The comprehensive curfew will start from 12 pm tomorrow, Sunday, until the 5th of next July, and it will be adjusted according to the health situation. Direct instructions were issued to the security services to close the entrances to Diyala and take the utmost measures to prevent any movement in markets, neighborhoods, alleys and villages, and to immediately implement the contents of the law against violators. The cell also called all the media and educated elites, tribal leaders, activists and religious leaders to support the decision of the crisis cell in Diyala in a true application of the curfew decision in order to stop the outbreak of the Corona epidemic and save the lives of our people and to avoid the virus from turning into a major humanitarian catastrophe in the province. He also emphasized on the importance of supporting the poor, and the displaced and the importance of securing the humanitarian requirements for them to overcome the virus.
