Overview: New measures of the government released, including: closure of the public and private education institutions at all levels until March 27, 2020. This comes with allowing one parent to stay at home, unless they work in the public health or security sectors. Temporary suspension of air and land travel routes from high and medium-risk countries (another decision). Obligated control of travellers by medical teams of MFMF at all entrances to Kosovo with the support of Kosovo Police. This is for all citizens coming from epidemic areas, for detecting cases and ensuring preventive measures. Quarantine required for all citizens entering the Republic of Kosovo from high and medium-risk epidemic areas, in accordance with the WHO’s instructions. In case certain persons cannot self-quarantine, they are recommended to be placed in common quarantines set by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo. Public and non-public activities can take place closed / without public presence such as: sports events / gatherings, gatherings, concerts, conferences, round tables etc. Restaurants, night clubs, gyms, swimming pools are banned after 23:00. To ban the export of equipment, materials and medical medicines by economic operators and producers, except on Government decision. All government institutions, as well as public and private companies are forced to take measures for protection and disinfection according to instructions from the Ministry of Health. All public companies and private companies that carry out public transport of travellers are required to carry out regular disinfection of transport. International organized transport (bus, minibus and similar) to high-risk countries and vice versa banned. Physical and legal persons who do not respect and violate recommendations will be punished in accordance with legislation. Depending on developments in the situation, decisions can be changed in real time and this will be announced to citizens.
