Overview: Orange Alert decreed in the hospital and ICU system of Bogotá.
The District assumes the stewardship of the referral and counter-referral of patients for all ICUs in Bogotá. All citizens will have the same opportunity to access an ICU, whether public or private, without distinction of regime or affiliation.
The Health Secretary of the Capital District will adopt individual, collective and population-based measures to prevent the increase in cases of COVID19, as well as the regulation of hospital response capacity, which includes the management of beds in Intensive Care Units, Intermediate or hospitalization general both for the care of coronavirus patients and for all other pathologies. The entity will also issue guidelines for the regulation of the provision of health services in the public and private network of the city.
Starting this Tuesday, June 16 and until zero hours on July 1, there will be new Special Care Areas in some sectors of Suba, Engativá, Ciudad Bolívar and Bosa due to the increase in the rate of COVID-19 infections. The mobility, entry and exit of people and vehicles from these sectors is restricted and it is declared in a 14-day epidemiological fence with strict quarantine conditions.
For the entire city, starting on Tuesday the 16th of June, the “Pico y Cédula” measure will be implemented throughout the city except for going to work, if it is among the exceptions, the emergency and health services.
On odd days, people whose identity document ends in odd digit will not be able to access services and establishments. On even days, people whose identity document ends in an even digit will not be able to access services and establishments.
The use of the mask is still mandatory as well as social distancing measures as preventive actions to avoid the spread of the virus.
Workers and paid domestic service workers may restart services. Your day will start at 10:00 a.m. In order not to saturate the capacity of public transport during peak hours, they must register.
Informal businesses will function the same as formal businesses, they will only be able to exercise between 12:00 noon and 11:59 p.m., there will be limits on the maximum load of sellers, people and cargo of merchandise depending on the sector.
Citizens between 18 and 69 years of age can carry out a maximum of two daily outdoor physical activity. For their part, children over 6 years old can carry out physical activity outdoors, three times a week for one hour a day. Children between 2 and 5 years old, 3 times a week, half an hour a day. Children and adolescents must be accompanied by an adult, who can be in charge of a maximum of three minors. Adults over 70 years old, three times a week, one hour a day.
A massive testing plan will be carried out, with at least 4,000 tests per day. Failure to abide by epidemiological visits, home visits and taking tests may carry penalties.
