Overview: This intervention establishes that short term rental accommodations including hotels, motels and inns may be used for isolation and quarantine given adherence to the Standards for Commercial Accommodation during COVID-19 and approval of a medical officer of health. This intervention is targeted at the general public, health officials and commercial accommodation business owners. This intervention aims to provide individuals with a place to stay to self-isolate or quarantine if they do not have a home or other place to self-isolate or they do not wish to expose other individuals living in their home to COVID-19. This intervention aims to reduce the transmission of COVID-19.
