Overview: Official statement from the Head of the Ministry of Health: “Nicaragua has not established nor will it establish any quarantine for coronaviruses”.
The Minister of Health, Carolina Dávila Murillo, reported that the Nicaraguan government will not enforce any quarantine on individuals who enter Nicaragua traveling from countries that have positive cases of coronavirus. The communique reads as follows: “Nicaragua has not established nor will it establish any quarantine for coronaviruses.” As of February 28th, Nicaragua had no cases of COVID-19.
