Overview: The president extended the COVID 19 lockdown for two more weeks until May 10th. The decree, however, allows some degrees of relaxation of the lockdown in several provinces where there is a controlled community spread and the appearance of new cases has doubling period greater than 15 days. The exceptions to the lockdown do not include activities that involve meetings close contacts of many people such as public meetings, schools, theaters and musical events, commercial stores (except essential stores involving food, medical supplies and pharmacies).
