Overview: All passengers to undergo strict screening at the airport and after the New Souillac Hospital and the Anse-La-Raie Youth Centre, a third Quarantine Centre has been identified at Pointe Jerome to cater for patients.

Evidence/Justification: Government reinforces its preventive measures following the outbreak of the Coronavirus. As at date some 43 104 cases have been reported around the world, with 1 018 deaths. Minister Jagutpal pointed out that in view of the situation Government is putting emphasis on surveillance, detection and prevention both at the airport and port.
